Christavia for Sale

Christavia Mk 1 homebuilt very near completion

Christavia FAQ’s – responses

Where is the Christavia now?

It’s located north of London, Ontario, roughly halfway between Windsor and Toronto as the crow flies.

What price are you asking for the Christavia?
A flexible $15,000.  That’s less than Dad has spent on materials and components and, we hope, will entice someone into completing her and getting her airborne.

How complete is she?
Most components have been built; currently disassembled, it will be simple to get her safetied.

Thank you all for your inquiries!

Sizing the wing struts

Here, Dad has drawn Christavia out of the workshop to fit the wings onto the fuselage.  The wings, in this shot, are hanging on the rear wall of the workshop in the background.

Advice for Buyers

If you are considering buying this nearly complete Christavia, or considering buying blueprints to start from scratch on an entirely different craft, there are a number of considerations you would be advised to consider.  The Experimental Aircraft Association of Canada’s Homebuilt aircraft buyer’s checklist: the essentials is an excellent guide.  It covers a range of information that can help you to make informed decisions.

Another great article is “Getting started”. It’s written by G. Denis Browne, Chairman of the EAAC Canadian Council, and you can find it on the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association website.
